Rereading is such a comforting thing for me. The past year, I’ve found myself looking forward to rereading books even BEFORE I finish the book the first time. This past month though, I’ve taken rereading to a whole other level lol. I’ve already reread two books and I have even more that I’m planning to get to in the remaining few days of the month.
My desire to reread a ton of books is also fueled by the fact that Clara, over at thebookwormofnotredame is hosting a readathon called the rereadathon. It’s a week long readathon dedicated for us fellow rereaders who need an excuse to reread without the guilt of your unread tbr 😉
Rereadathon TBR
Radio Silence – Alice Oseman
I was meant to reread this book last month with my friend but unfortunately, I was in a mini reading slump and wasn’t in the mood to pick it up. I know Radio Silence is considered a comfy read but it’s quite emotionally heavy for me. While I do consider it a comforting read, some aspects of the book are quite hard for me to read without feeling emotionally drained.
Clockwork Prince – Cassandra Clare
I don’t know if I’ll get to this book but I thought I’d add it to my list in case I do. I’m currently rereading this series with my friend Sophie and I’m having the time of my life. I genuinely still love this series.
Passenger – Alexandra Bracken
I reread this book many years ago when I was still in high school. I remember really enjoying certain aspects of it but also equally frustrated some bits of it as well. I want to reread this book so I can finally pick up the second book because I remember the first book’s ending ended on such a cliff hanger that I needed to know what happened.
I also want to reread some other books before the rereadathon.
Josh and Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating – Christina Lauren
This is one of my go to rereads. I’ve reread this around three tiems already but whenever I’m looking for a comfort read that’s quick and fun, I pick this one up. It makes me happy and leaves me with a smile every single time.
Red, White, and Royal Blue – Casey McQuiston
I’ve been rereading this book for so long and I honestly need to finish it lol. Do you ever reread a favorite that you just don’t want to end? This book is that for me.
What is one book that you find yourself picking up to reread that makes you feel all comfy?
