Happy Monday everyone!
It’s a bit late but I’ve decided to do an entire post regarding my May reading plans
including all the readathons I’m planning to participate in.
Last month, I participated in the OWLs readathon for the first time and it was such a rewarding experience for me. I read A LOT and I loved how I was tracking what I was reading. I never had the chance to properly participate in readathons but now that I have a bit more time, I’m set on doing as many as I can!
This month, I’m going to be participating in the following readathons:
Feel free to click on the links and see if you want to maybe join one 🙂
My main goal this month is to participate in the Asian readathon. I won’t be able to do all the prompts and I’m not entirely sure if we can double up but I currently am having to do that. Unfortunately, my library loans are taking a lot longer to come in so I’m only reading four books that mostly fit the prompts lol.
Read a book by any Asian Author
“Everything I Never Told You” by Celeste Ng
Read a book featuring an Asian character or written by an Asian Author you can relate to
“Everyone is Hanging Out Without Me (And Other Concerns)” by Mindy Kaling
Read a book featuring an Asian character or written by an Asian Author that is different from you
“Frankly In Love” by David Yoon
Read a book that is recommended by an Asian friend
“Pachinko” by Min Jin Lee
Optional: Read “Little Fires Everywhere” by Celeste Ng
What is one book that you are most excited to read this month? I think for me, I’m the most excited to pick up “Clockwork Angel”. I loved this series when I was younger and I still cherish it in my memories till this day. I can’t wait to jump back into the world and fall in love with even more.
The Rereadathon sounds like something I’d really enjoy but looking over at the dates I don’t think it’s actually doable for me, thought.
I also set up a huge tbr for may and here I am 12 days later and I don’t think I’m going to get a third done XD
but hey, good luck!
