When I go to the library I pick up all the books because I’m a very indecisive human being when it comes to books. I’m a big mood reader. As I’m currently reading a thriller, I want to pick up something short and easy to read. So I went over to the library and picked up some books that caught my eye while a couple of old women were ferociously playing Scrabble next to the books I was perusing.

I’ve heard so much about The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls that I had to see what it’s about. I have never really read a lot of middle grade except for the time when I was … well in middle grade. I’m actually currently reading it right now and it honestly is giving me all the Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory vibes. There’s just so something nostalgic about Claire Legend’s writing. And oh my gosh this book is creepy. As a person who is TERRIFIED of cockroaches, beetles, and other creepy crawly insects, I nearly have a heart attack every now and then because on some of the pages, there’s a tiny beetle/cockroach hidden amongst the text. Logically, I manage to always think it’s real and jump a little.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe
Who hasn’t heard of this book honestly. I’ve heard nonstop about how this book is everyone’s favorite and how the author’s writing is just elegant. I’m not going to lie, I’m kind of nervous going into it because I’ve heard that it’s just as heart wrenching as it’s full of gooey goodness. I don’t know about you but when books are BOTH heart wrenching and heart-warming at the same time, I’m always anxious about starting them even though these kind of books end up being some of my most memorable reads. I always have a problem starting these books but once I do, I won’t be able to put them down. I don’t think I’m going to pick up this book quite yet until I finish this thriller because I have a feeling this book is going to be surprisingly deep and heavy in its own kind of way in (hopefully) a non-murder kind of way.
Rebel of The Sands
The vibe this book is giving me is that of an action movie. All I can picture is men and 
women dressed in black tank tops and khakis shooting at each other in Humvees. I know this books has nothing to do with people chasing each other around in Humvees but the cover’s got me excited for all kinds of action. I can’t wait to read this book and just fly through it. I’m not really expecting much from this book as I haven’t heard much about it but I’m leaning towards picking up this book right after I finish the The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls.
