Weekly Wrap Up #6

I feel like I keep saying this… but this week’s been emotionally a lot. Work’s been great, I’ve been productive and feeling very accomplished on that front. Everything else though has resulted in a very bad mental health week. The weekend brought good news and good memories with friends such as beachside dinner with friends while a man with a funny yet endearing band name played Elton John in the background. Oh and also an afternoon spent at a Food and Crafts fair that had a lot of food and a lot of cute dogs.

Things That I’m Grateful For:

Since this week’s wrap up is a bit dull, here’s a couple of pics from the past week:

What I’ve Watched

The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor

I thought it couldn’t get worse… and it did. The actual main characters in this movie, with the exception of Brendan Fraser were so annoying. I don’t understand why natural selection has kept these people alive, especially the mom/wife/female lead.

Ittefaq

I didn’t finish this yet but I did start it. I’m adding it here because it’s rare to find an Indian movie that’s only 1.5 hours long. On top of that, it has one of my favorite actors in it and it’s rated 90% on Rotten Tomatoes! I’m going to call that a win.

Samantha Jo

I don’t know how but I found her YouTube shorts of her no fast food challenge and I decided to check out her full length videos and I’m in love you all. I haven’t watched any movies or shows this week because I spent my time watching her Vlogmas 2022 videos and even went further back in her backlog. There’s something really comforting about her videos and they’re also really funny which is exactly what I need after a long day at work.

What I’ve Read

A Court of Wings and Ruin

I finally started the third book in the ACOTAR series. I wanted to finish the entirety of it this weekend but haven’t done that yet. I still have time but I want to take my time reading. In other words, I don’t want my time in this world to end lol.
