Monthly Wrap Up: March Wrap Up

I’m writing this so far into April that I’ve lost complete track of anything I did in March. This is why I’m a big writer or note taker of everything that I do. If I don’t, I’ll forget everything.

A lot of stuff happened in March in my personal life. I got a promotion, I hauled way too many books, and I stress bought a white board because my life was too messy to fix in my hundred journals and notebooks I have lying around at all times.

I did read a lot this month. I read a total of eight books in many different genres and I loved most of them.

The real big stand outs have to be:

• Emma by Jane Austen – I never thought that I’d read a classic as fast as I did with Emma and actually enjoy it. I’ve had so much fun with it and it made me go out and pick up more Jane Austen books that I’m itching to get to this year.
• Between Shades of Grey by Ruta Sepetys – A tragic, horrific, study of a Lithuanian family torn apart by Russian soldiers in 1941. An undeniably relevant read that’s powerful, important, and necessary to be read.
• A Pinch of Magic by Jessica Townsend – The most cozy middle grade book ever. The feelings I got from this book was what I wanted from Nevermoor by Jessica Townsend. This book rekindled my love of middle grade.
